Auction house
ARCANGELO-AUCTION SRL, company and VAT number BE 1021.178.881, Rue Courtois 40, 4000 Liège, Belgium. Contact: arcangelo.auction@gmail.com — +32 496 07 39 67.
Mandate and acceptance
The seller consigns lots under the agreed mandate or deposit contract. Receipt does not guarantee inclusion or sale. Arcangelo Auction may refuse or withdraw a lot for a legitimate reason, including doubts about authenticity, provenance, legality or safety.
Seller’s representations
The seller warrants ownership or valid authority to sell and discloses relevant claims, rights and restrictions. Information about origin, authenticity, condition, restoration and restrictions must be provided in good faith.
Receipt, description and estimate
The agreement records, where possible, description, apparent condition, estimate, any reserve, commission and agreed fees. Estimates are indicative and do not guarantee price or outcome. Descriptions may be corrected before sale.
Reserve and sale organisation
A reserve exists only if agreed in writing. The lot will not be sold below it without written consent. Arcangelo Auction determines order, presentation, increments and practical arrangements.
Seller’s commission and fees
For each sold lot, a seller’s commission of 25% including VAT and a fixed fee of 3 euros are deducted. Other deductions require written agreement or a legal obligation. Any legally due artist’s resale right is deducted under the applicable rules.
Care and liability
Arcangelo Auction takes reasonable care of consigned lots. Insurance terms are available on request or specified in the agreement. Liability is not excluded or limited beyond what the law permits.
Photography and promotion
The seller authorises photography, filming, description and reproduction of lots for expertise, catalogues, publicity, sale and archiving, and discloses known third-party rights.
Seller bidding and withdrawal
The seller must not bid directly or indirectly on their own lots or manipulate bidding. A withdrawal request must be made in writing and accepted before the sale. No fee is due solely because of withdrawal, subject to expressly agreed commitments and authorised external costs.
Unsold lots
An unsold lot must be collected within the agreed period. With consent it may be reoffered or sold privately. No fee is due solely because it remained unsold unless agreed in writing beforehand.
Seller settlement
Net proceeds become due after the buyer’s payment has been effectively and finally received. Settlement follows within five business days, after agreed or legally required deductions. Arcangelo Auction need not advance the price if the buyer defaults.
